The reddish purple spider-shaped flowers bloom on long sprays with multiple flowers.
The breeding here is Miltassia Erachne x Milt. Seminole Blood and this one is a clone of the award-winning Miltassia Royal Robe 'Jerry's Pick' HCC/AOS.
But really, just enjoy the flowers when it blooms. We think you can expect flowers within 12 months, which is our definition of blooming size. This is a big plant (it stands almost 18 inches high). It goes for $30 when in flower. These have a few black spots on the leaves, from the heat in our greenhouse. But the plants are very healthy and could spike up almost anytime now.
This hybrid is easy to grow, too. Provide bright indirect light and a temperature range of 60 to 85 degrees. Allow to get almost dry, but not quite, between waterings, like a phal.
